Current website behaviour

The current site does not provide user accounts, contact forms or advertising. Place search runs in the browser against a static index and does not submit the search text to a WaterCheck Ireland application database.

The site does not use a third-party search service or require a login to view a place report.

Technical request data

The web server may retain standard technical request logs, such as the requested path, time, network address and browser information, for security and operations. Retention and access are controlled through the hosting environment rather than the public report pages.

Cookies and external services

The current static pages do not set an application account cookie and do not contain advertising. If analytics, forms or other third-party services are introduced, this notice should be updated before those features are enabled.

Public datasets

Settlement, supply-zone and monitoring information displayed by the site comes from public institutional datasets and is not a profile of an individual visitor.
